How to disassemble Acer Aspire 4750G Laptop Keyboard
In this article I show how to take apart a Acer Aspire 4750G laptop. I’m taking it apart in order to how to replace a keyboard.
Remove the Acer Aspire 4750G battery.
Remove the screw, and open the hard drive and memory covers from the bottom of the laptop. After you open the cover, you can take apart and replace the memory modules and hard drive.
1 The Acer Aspire 4750G use a DDR3 memory module. In order to remove the memory you should spread latches located on both sides of the memory slot. The memory module will pop up at a 30 degree angle. After that you can pull the memory module from the slot.
2 The Acer Aspire 4750G use a Hitachi 500G hard drive. Remove some screws securing the hard drive caddy to the base. Slide the hard drive and disconnect it from the motherboard. Then you can Lift up and remove the hard drive.
Use your fingernail or a hard card to open bottom cover, and remove some screws securing the keyboard.
The keyboard is surrounded by activities snaps, slowly press and hold the buckle with a screwdriver, pull out the keyboard
Disconnect the keyboard cable, then you can remove the keyboard.
